Target Plus is Target's curated, invite-only marketplace, and Target approves every seller. Once Target has approved your brand, you can connect your Target Plus account to Acenda so listings, inventory, pricing and orders run through one place. This guide walks through the Target Plus steps. For the general setup that applies to every channel, see How to connect a sales channel to Acenda.
Before you start: You need an approved Target Plus seller account and your Target Plus API credentials (such as your Seller ID and API key) from your Target+ Partner Portal. Not approved yet? Acenda can introduce or nominate qualified vendors, but Target makes the final decision.
Step 1: Get your credentials from Target
Sign in to your Target+ Partner Portal.
Find your Seller ID and the API credentials for connecting a channel partner, and keep them ready for Step 3.
If you can't find them, ask Target Plus support or contact Acenda Support.
Step 2: Add Target Plus in Acenda
In the sidebar, click CHANNELS > Integrations.
Click New in the top right to open the channel catalog.
Find Target Plus and click + Add.
Click Edit next to your Target+ integration.
Step 3: Authorize the connection
On the Settings tab, open Authorization and enter the credentials from Step 1.
Under Notifications, add the email addresses of anyone who should be alerted about sync failures or listing issues.
Under General, turn on Enabled so data starts syncing.
Step 4: Map your warehouses
Under General, use Warehouse Details to map each Target Plus location to one of your Acenda Warehouses. Stock only flows to Target Plus from warehouses you map here. If you map more than one, drag them into priority order. Set an Inventory Floor if you want a stock buffer (see How to set an inventory floor for a marketplace).
Step 5: Set up listings
Map your product attributes to Target Plus fields with Posting Templates. See How to build a posting template.
Review your logistics settings, such as Shipping Exclusion and Return Policy, in the logistics Generic Template. See How to find and update Target+ logistics settings.
Make sure Enable Item Setup is on. If it's off, Acenda won't create new Target Plus listings for items you add later, and no error appears.
Click Save.
Step 6: Monitor your items
Target reviews every item you send. Check an item's Channel Status tab, or go to CHANNELS > Item Issues to see Target's errors. The integration's Dashboard and Channel Events tabs show what's live and what Acenda sent. To understand Pending, Approved, Rejected, Suspended and Unlisted, see Target Plus: What do item statuses mean?
Troubleshooting & FAQ
Can I connect Target Plus before Target approves me? No. You need an approved Target Plus seller account and its credentials first.
Why isn't stock reaching Target Plus? Check that each Target Plus location is mapped to an Acenda warehouse under Warehouse Details, and that Enabled is on.
Why aren't my new items showing up on Target Plus? Check that Enable Item Setup is on, then look for errors in CHANNELS > Item Issues.
Can I connect my ERP or store to Target Plus through Acenda? Yes. Acenda integrates with systems such as NetSuite, Shopify, Odoo, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and Acumatica, which lets you run Target Plus from Acenda.
