Customer Groups
To setup or modify your B2B Customer Groups follow the steps below:

From the dashboard click Customers.

Then click Groups.
By default, all customers will be placed into the “Default Customer” group. To create a new group, click New Item.

Set Customer Group details.
- Name: This is the name of your customer group. This is a required field.
- Require Email Verification: If this is checked, upon creating an account a new customer will receive an email asking them to verify their email address by clicking a link.
- Require Approval: If this is checked, the customer will enter pending status once they create an account until an admin approves their membership to the customer group.
- Auto Approve Email Domains: This feature allows you to automatically approve customers for this customer group with certain email domains, e.g. gmail.com email domains.

Set Global Discounts for this Customer Group.
- Global Discount: The percent discount the given customer group will enjoy. The default is 0 or no discount.
- Global Discount Field: The field to which the percent discount pertains. The default is price.

Set Customer Limits for this Customer Group.
- Customer Spending Limit: The time window over which spending limits apply. If none is selected the spending limit will apply to any time frame.
- Customer Spending Limit Amount: The maximum amount in dollars this customer group can spend over the specified time frame.
- Maximum Total Per Order: The maximum amount in dollars the customer in this customer group may spend per any given order over the specified time frame.
- Maximum Number Items Per Order: The maximum number of individual products the customer in this customer group may purchase per any given order over the specified time frame.
- Maximum Item Quantity Per Order: The maximum amount of each individual product the customer in this customer group may purchase per any given order over the specified time frame.
- Tax-Free Checkout: If this box is checked the customer will enjoy a tax-free checkout.
To Assign a Customer Group to a Customer

From the dashboard click Customers.

Then click Customers.

Click Edit on the desired customer.

Click Edit under the Information heading.

Under Group select the desired Customer Group.

Click Save.
