How to Set Up Feed Center Tool

The Feed Center Tool provides a robust system for outbound data feeds. Choose from pre-built feeds for Bing Shopping Center, Google Merchant Center or create your own from scratch.

  1. Enable Feed Center service: Dashboard > Services > Service Library > Feed Center.

    Then click + Add Service.

  2. Enable the Feed Center service:

    • Status: slide to Active.

    • Title: Give the service a generic name, eg. Feed Center.

  3. Click Save.

  4. Refresh the browser page; the Feed Center tool will now appear in the left nav-bar of Admin.

  5. Select Dashboard > Feed Center > Current Feeds.

  6. Click Add to build a new feed.

  7. Complete the following:

    • Feed Name: Enter a feed name, eg. Acme Store Google Merchant Center.

    • Feed Type: Select a feed type from the drop-down.

  8. Click Save.

  9. Locate your feed and click Edit.

  10. Enable or Disable the feed.

  11. Click the Source tab and define the query for your feed.

  12. Select the Attribute tab to modify the fields in your feed. You can add a new Attribute by clicking the Add Attribute button (in the top right of the page).

  13. Select the Outputs tab and click on the Add Output button.

  14. Select the Output Type and enter the respective values.

  15. Click Save.

  16. Select the Schedule tab and enter a cron schedule value:

  17. Visit http://www.cronmaker.com/ to help configure the schedule.

  18. Use the Preview Variant ID tool to preview how the feed will generate. Enter a valid variant.id value from your product database.

  19. Click Save.
