Social Media

Overview:

The Social Media Site Settings tab controls your social media integrations for Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Google Plus.

This settings page allows you to customize "share with a friend" and other social media features.

To modify your Social Media settings please follow the steps below:

1. From the dashboard click Settings.

   

2. Then click Site Settings.

   The Site Settings page displays.

   

3. Click the Social Media tab.

   The Social Media page displays.

4. Update the settings as required.

   Facebook

   

   • Facebook Page: Enter the URL of your shop's Facebook page.
   • Link Type: Select from Like or Recommend.

   • Checkboxes:

     • Enable Likes: Select to enable Facebook likes.
     • Enable Shares: Select to enable Facebook sharing of your page and posts.
   • Enable Follow Page: Select to allow users to follow your Facebook page and see new content in their newsfeed.
   • Enable Meta-tags: Select to enable meta-tags.
   • Show Counter: Select to enable the counter to track social engagement.

   Twitter

   

   • Twitter Page: Enter the URL of your shop's Twitter page.
   • Account Name: Enter your shop's Twitter Account Name.
   • Enable: Select to enable Twitter.
   • Add Account Text: Enable this option to automatically tag your Twitter account name to any tweets where you are mentioned by customers.
   • Enable Meta-tags: Enable this option for Twitter to automatically pull the meta-tag information from your referring page in the respective tweet.
   • Enable Follow Page: Select to allow users to follow your Twitter page and see new content in their newsfeed.

   Pinterest

   

   • Pinterest Page: Enter the URL of your shop's Pinterest page.
   • Full Name: Enter your company or individual name.
   • Enable: Select to enable Pinterest.
   • Show Counter: Select to enable the counter to track social engagement.
   • Enable Follow Page: Select to allow users to follow your Pinterest page and see new content in their newsfeed.

   Google Plus

   

   • Google Plus Page: Enter the URL of your shop's Google Plus page.
   • Full Name: Enter your company or individual name.
   • Enable: Select to enable Google Plus.
   • Enable Follow Page: Select to allow users to follow your Google Plus page and see new content in their newsfeed.

5. When you have finished updating the Social Media settings click Save.
